The situation: CPU 1214C DC \ DC \ Rly, analog and discrete modules. WinCC RT Professional (128 PowerTags) v14 sp1 update3, WindowsServer2016, TIA Portal v14 sp1 update3, WinCC Professional and STEP 7 Basic v14 sp3 update 3 There is a project: 1cpu, WinCCRT Professional 14, PC station - the OPC server is added to the PC station (the Device configuration already contains the IE general (192.168.1.2) and WinCC RT Professional 14) - an S7 connection is created from the OPC server to the PLC (there is already an HMI connection between WinCC and CPU) Attachment 0-02-05-2e2e3e4afce47df8a8ffa576a46af680d7235e7a5f13dd6fcbe81c4487e8b24e_9379db12.jpg (433 Downloads)

The OPC client (OPC scout) is running on the PC station? If you say yes to the second question, it might help to turn off the firewall. Regards, Frink

OPC client is running locally on the PC station. - the OPC server is added in the project - in PC station (the Device configuration already contains the IE general (192.168.1.2) and WinCC RT Professional 14) - an S7 connection is created from the OPC server to the PLC (there is already an HMI connection between WinCC and CPU) 2. Firewal off. Antivirus deleted. No tags in OPC scout.

WinCC has driver to connect to plc built in. Do you need the OPC Server for some other system to connect via OPC? Second: The picture shows OPC Scout browsing Classic OPC (not OPC UA). In that case you need: - non-optimized DB - OPC Server version selected in the project must be 8.x (not V14/V15).

What type of PLC do you use ? S7-300, S7-400, S7-1500 ? If your use Simatic NET OPC server you have to load your OPC server to the KOKO Best regards schufri
