No updating of the channel drivers Problem Status of I/Os shows that it is ON, but the actual input is not. Inputs were being driven to known values however the displayed values did not change or match the simulated signals. Solution In this instance the hardware modules were assigned to PIPs in hardware configuration. However the PIPs were not assigned to runtime groups (OBs) thus PIP updating does not occur. Assigning the PIP to the appropiate OB (OB30 through 38) allows for PIP updating. Additional information Online Help (SIMATIC Manager) -> “Process Image of In-/Outputs” |
