Not able to access the remote CPU for the first time (fresh CPU)

joisramesh Posts: 40 Rating: (1)	Dear All, I have a remote CPU IM151-8 PN/DP (6ES7-151-8AB01-0AB0)to which I tried to access through following options in S7 V5.5, 1. Accessible Nodes 2. Edit Ethernet Node 3. To Upload the station to PC. But I was unable to access it. Then I tried with a laptop not belonging to my office network. Then I was able to access within a second so I assigned the IP address to the CPU. Then again I tried to access the CPU with the desktop with which I tried earlier. I was unsuccessful to access it through accessible nodes/edit ethernet node options but able to ping, upload, download, monitor, etc. Does anybody of you experienced the similar problem? Are there any networkingsoftwares which might cause these type of problems? Please advise me on these issues. Regards, Ramesh Jois.

joisramesh Posts: 40 Rating: (1)	Thanks for your concern. Actually the problem was the "Network Threat Protection" being enabled by the Symantec Endpoint Protection Antivrus application. Once it was disabled everything was normal. Thanks & Regards, Ramesh Jois.
