NTP synchronisation and summer winter time...

robcioj Posts: 13 Rating: (0)	Hi I have specific problem. I'm using CP 343 IT Advanced and NTP synchronisation. When time was changed my system time not. I don't know where is a problem because NTP server send correct time and I have shifted one hour. Anybody has idea ?? BR Robert

The NTP mode does not support any automatic changeover between summer time and winter time. This is not provided for in the protocol. J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Dear Robert, well, the time calculated with the FC 61 always depends on the time set by the NTP Server. As the Time of the NTP Server is always the Winter-time the System time will also be always the Winter-time. If you insist on a change here you may have to use a different Time-Server. As far as I remember the SICLOCK Time-Server may provide a Summer-Winter-time change. Maybe you ask your Sales representative for more details about it. Best regards J_Bell
