Is there possibility to create NTP local server on Master PLC and synchronize all other by IP server made on Master PLC? I need my Master to be 1511 CPU. Is it even possible? Or there is other more efficient way to do this? Greetings

The concern is that you have to keep this CPU time up to date and synchronized with other systems (SCADA, Level 2, etc).

miami Platinum Expert Joined: 8/31/2005 Last visit: 8/20/2024 Posts: 2198 Rating: (328)	As I see it, you can use the Library for SNTP Server Functionality in S7 CPUs(https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/82203451) on the S7-1500 to have a SNPT Server. That's all you need.
