NTP Time syncronization with CP 341-1

bantonio Posts: 18 Rating: (0)	I've used NTP time sincronization with the CP 343-1EX21-0XE0 v1.1 connected to one CPU 314C-2DP v2.0 and in another plant I've connected the same CP with other six CPU 313C v2.0, so in the second plant I have 6 cpu with 6 cp. The plants are at 150 km one from the other. I've configured in each one plc's hardware the time syncronization by NTP server. In the first plant I have used for NTP server the Italian NTP server ntp1.ien.it and in the plant with 6 plc I've used for NTP server a PC running a sotware for that function. In each plant, in each plc , it happens that plc time ( read by SFC1) goes forward of 49 days and 17 hours. Only for a little time, 1 or 2 minutes. After it come back at the correct time. It doesn't happen every day, and not at the same time .... but the offset of the change is everytime the same. Does it look like a bug ??

J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Hello, you seem to have a rather old version of the CP, may you try this Version: SIMATIC NET CP 343-1 Firmware Update V1.2.3 (6GK7343-1EX21-0XE0) It might be that this fixes your problem already. If it does not we will have to figure out possible other reasons. Best regards J_Bell
