Hello manmmet, Yes, There is a limitation of 244 bytes. With the ET 200S, the number of pluggable modules depends on the header module, the module width and the length of the configuration and parameterization messages. Please see this FAQ. What conditions do you have to comply with when configuring ET 200S modules? hope this helps. |

Hello, When selection number of modules in ET200S (Your case), best way is to using the Configurator. You can useOnline Configuratoror even the configurator of CA01. It will tell you when to add power module, it will add the required terminal modules. And after finishing of selection, you can check if this selection is correct or not. It's really a powerful tool. The other way is to select each component your self, but in this case you should calculate the power consumption for each module to know how many power modules you need. the 63 places of this IM can not be occupied by only IO modules. There are power modules should be added. You have to select all accessories yourself. In my opinion, I prefer to use configurators. Hope this helps. |
