PROFIBUS DP INTERFACE (9 PIN SUB-D, FEMALE) AS DP SLAVE, W/O BATTERY SIMATIC MMC REQUIRED or CPU IM151-8 SIMATIC DP, IM151-8 PN/DP CPU FOR ET200S, 192 KB WORKING MEMORY, INT. Hi there. That case was handled here: LINK The software allow you to only create 4 PTOs regardless of which outputs you use. "Navnag" has profided valuable information. I however have a naughty feeling that in costs it will be cheaper to use x2 S7-1200 PLCs. You can have x2 CPUs .. one can even be a CPU1211. The CPUs can be linked with Profinet.. if required. Maybe do some costings before coming to a final conclusion. Greetings. w |

Hello William B For sure 2 Nos. S7-1200 would be costing less than the hardware proposed by me. However it would be a tad more complicated to program, commission and troubleshoot, especially when the six outputs are closely linked to each other requiring, a little more amount of programming. We must evaluate the total cost Hardware + Software + commissioning and decide accordingly. Cheers Navnag |
