Number of SI modules with S7-1200

Hi, I want to know if there is a limit of Serial connections with the S7-1200. I want to connect ET200S with several SI modules 6ES7138-4DF01-0AB0.

Assuming you are using that module in RS485 which is the best choice for multiple connection (remember : one is Master others are slaves) you can at least handle 31 slaves ( and one master).

Keep in mind speed and distance which are pretty critical in RS comms...

Be careful: SI modules on ET200s are not supported with S7-1200 !

Thanks for the info, what about the ET200SP CM PtP 6ES7137-6AA00-0BA0. I haven´t found anything about the ET200SP in the manual.

maybe better will be post info or idea what kind of network you want prepare (Picture of that can be fine), why you need that number of communication modules. Maybe after see that, problem can be solved better.
