When I want to put in a password in the KP700 I get the whole character set, and I have to press for example the '1' more than 20 times to exactly get a '1'. 

I use only numeric characters in my TIA portal project, how can can I change it that only numeric characters can be entered in the KP700 for password ?

What you could do is create a custom login screen where the password is a number field, then it should only show the numeric keyboard, it's just a suggestion but i don't think it is very hard to implement.

This won't be particularly helpful.  But rather than pushing the '1' lots of times to get the '1', you can just hold the button for 2-3 seconds.  It will then enter the '1' (when in alpha mode).

As mentioned by the other member, you could potentially customise the Logon dialog (create your own), and use the scripting to do the logon itself.
