OBA7 I/O status with thirdparty scada software

OBA7 in the way similar to the below approach: http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/LOGO-PLC-driver-based-on-LabVIEW/td-p/877701 I use FaqFactory software which supports flexible creation of data protocols over ethernet (serial over TCP/IP) Regards, Pawel

Pc acceshas a OPC server that is able to connect with a 200 series PLC and therfore with a Logo too. Have a search on this forum on PC Acces. Your Scada developper has a support page, ask them if S7 (200) communication can be done. I don't think you are the only one with this question, so they might have a solution for you already. I spent times with ethernet sniffer and discovered communication similar to the one in the article: http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/LOGO-PLC-driver-based-on-LabVIEW/td-p/877701 by SNATAX. You have to comunicate to Logo!.IP, port 10001: (Status?) 21( Status OK ) 06 03 21 44 (Mode?) 55 17 17 AA --->(if STOP) 06 42 (if RUN) 06 01 (Go to Stop Mode) 55 11 11 AA --->(OK) 06 (Go to Run Mode) 55 18 18 AA -->(OK) 06 (Read all status) 55 19 19 AA -->(70 bytes length packet) Further investigation in the 70 bytes data packet gives you acces to all imputs, outputs, etc.... (E.g byte nr 4 keeps coded I1-I8, byte nr 5 - I9-I16, ...) I was able the to make a new protocol definition in Azeotech DaqFactory software so I can make a decent visualition of required Logo! data on a PC screen. This step is surely dependent on scada software you use. Should you have further questions do not hesitate to ask me. Regards, P.
