Hi all,

does anybody know if is there (maybe in Unified?) an HMI object that is link to an array?

I am looking a way to connect one tag (an array of struct or UDT) to an HMI object and this object, usually a grid, displays as many rows as the array size, as many columns as many are the members of each array variable.

This would be very helpful and save a lot of time on HMI design.

I use Ignition for that.

I have made an instance of the UDT to display on the HMI. Then PLC side "Move" the current index into that instance. Some buttons on the screen so the operator can flip through the records by incrementing or decrementing the Index.

 Thank you KFoldesi, I also know some other product that implements that. I was trying to find a solution within the TiA portal.

Yea, I try not to say "Can't"

So I offered two methods to accomplish the goal... It seams silly to me when people respond in these chat rooms negatively.
