May be it is too late to discuss this. I tried the solution in windows 10 64 bit and tia portal v15. I have registered mscomm32.ocx. I am able to see the ocx in activex control. but I am not able to add it to my runtime screen. Kindly let me know the solution. how it worked for you. I registered the ocx in both syswow64 and also in system32.

Kindly help me out.
