odd or even

I am using a logo 8 PLC to program.

in my program i have a counter which is preset to a starting value, say 7.

with even iteration, the counter will count down, eventually  stopping when the counter reaches zero.

if the counter is odd, it is suppose to make Q1 as high.

if the counter is even, it is suppose to make Q3 high.

how do i do that?

how can i know if the counter value right now is odd or even.

 Amazing. it works great in simulation. i will take a live trial shortly and update.

Since the LOGO! can only calculate with fixed point numbers as an integer, this example works only up to a count of a maximum of 32,766. If the counter value is greater than 32,766, this is evaluated as 32,767.
