On Screen Messages

As previous post please bare with me as i am sort of new to this.

i have a kp300 screen and i am trying to display messages on the screen.

for example when F1 is pressed i want a message on the screen to appear and stay along as F1 is active.

when F2 is pressed the same again and so on.

i am using the screen with the logo 8 and have all my tags / function buttons working fine between the two devices. within the logo software i have for example a input  at I1 and want to when that input is active send a message to the screen.

hope this makes sense 

If you want to show a text when a key is pressed you could use visibility on a text field in the KP300. I ave made a screenshot showing.

On the other hand you could use the alarmview on trigger bits

i have tried all ways now and for some reason no success. when i try and set the message i lose all the functions of the buttons to the logo.

do i need to create a new screen for each function button. also i want to share my project for you to see whats the best way to do this.

For the moment I have no way of knowing what you want to do. If you can ZIP your HMI project and add it here, it might help.

Focus on the HMI part of the example. It is not the same device, but much of the workings are the same. Where they use touch buttons, you will use hardware buttons only. Look through the document and work through all the properties of all the elements.

It is a bit difficult to explain the fundamentals in text. See if you cannot convince someone closer to you to give you the 30minute kick-start tour.
