simon.nilsson Posts: 29 Rating: (0)	Hello! i restarted the PLC and now the i/o fault is not there anymore. but i still have the other 2 alarms. slave 1 is a dp coupler inside a milling machine. i have attached the data i recieved from the manufacturer. I think this messages are not standard diagnosic Messages from the PLC, do you have same userdefined messages or systemmessages activated? Regards Christoph

0_Einstein Diamond Expert Joined: 7/7/2010 Last visit: 2/6/2025 Posts: 15612 Rating: (2471)	Your profibus connection seems to be dropping offline long enough to cause the PLC to go into STOP mode. You probably want to add the hardware interrupt OB to trap the hardware error for when the robot goes offline or stops communicating for brief periods of time. I assume you have watchdog toggling on both PLC and Robot ends so you know communications is working well enough to continue the process. Check your cabling terminations and areas where recent welding, drilling, grinding, or other heavy work was done near your profibus cable. Maybe there is damage. zebelkhan Posts: 29 Rating: (4)	hi id some confront this situations in work and each time did this works its solved : 1-exact check for compatibility HW configurations like as versions , frameworks , updates , HW Interupts , type of signals and chanel situations ... 2-exact debug in Your program in logic and addressing (confllict , overlap) "A tiny small gap can sink a ship" good luck

simon.nilsson Posts: 29 Rating: (0)	Thanks for all your support. Unfortunately the configuration was ok in tia portal, the fault was missing 24Volt supply to the dp coupler from the PLC side. Now it works perfect!
