michaelf Posts: 29 Rating: (1)	hello, I must create a project with datalogging. I must display this in an online trend control. That works, but i want that the standard buttons in the trend control are disabled, so that I can use of my own buttons to control the trend. I already realised a part where I can enable en disable the trend. But for the others buttons for scrolling in time and so, I'm stuck. can someone give me a little push in the right direction? I use winCC V6 SP3. thank you Michael Franssens

You can then program your own buttons using C scripts. Procedure - Create the button - Create a C-Action on the buttons Mouse event - Using the function browser on the left hand side, under the Standard Functions / TAGLOG / Toolbar Buttons folder you will find a series of functions that relate to the toolbar buttons (hence the name [:D] ) (f you select a function and hit the F1 function key you will see the help for that function.) Once you have created these buttons you can enable / disable, hide / show them depending on the relevant circumstance, e.g. when a different user logs on. I hope this is enough to get you started. Is it possible to change the selection of the archive or tags without the configuration box? The purpose is that the operator can choose wich trends are vissible on the screen, but there is only one trend allowed at the moment. someone an idea? Michael Franssens

You can find more information about these properties in the manual. Here is an example VBS script (you can use C as well if you prefer). My trend control is called Control1, my tag logging archive is named MyArchive and my archived tag is named MyArchivedTag. The script changes the tag displayed for the first trend / pen. The final line forces the trend to populate existing data for the new tag. [code] Dim trend Set trend = ScreenItems("Control1") trend.Index = 0 trend.TagName = "ProcessValueArchive\SignedTag" trend.Command = "Reload" [/code] Hopefully the above should be enough to get you started. Now i want to disable some buttons when the trend is running and disable some other buttons when the trend is stopped. I created a general action, that runs every 500ms to do that. But when the picture with the trend isn't open, the script service generates now and then an error, what is the cause that the script.exe crashes and the wincc must be restarted to fix the error. I think that the solution is to check that the picture with the trend is open... the only thing i don't know is how to do that. can someone give me a hint? thank you Michael Franssens

Hi Michael Another way to achieve this is to hide the toolbar and program your own buttons. That way whenever the user presses the button to start / stop the trend update then you can expand the script to enable / disable your other buttons. You can easily program your own trend toolbar buttons using the C script functions in the Standard Functions\TagLogging list - there is a function which corresonds to each toolbar button. Hi Michael The combo-box should have a font property where you can change the font. If this doesn't work and you just want to change the font size,then try selecting the combo-box and thenselect a different font size from the Font Size drop-down box in the toolbar in the top right-hand corner. Can you also let us know which combo-box you are using. Is it the Forms 2.0 ComboBox or something else? One last thing, could you please post new questions in a different thread. It makes it easier for other users to follow and also keeps the board tidy [:D] Regards, Salma

Hi Salma,

With reference to your quote, how do i create the same functions using C-Script?
Thats because i had already some other c-script in the button that i wish to implement this function.
