Hi.

I have this older (V13) tia project upgraded to V16Upd4.

I changed one of the KTP700 screens to an Comfort 1500 Portrait screen (6AV2124-0QC02-0AX1)

When i then start the 1500 comfort in HMISim, i do not get the onscreenkeyboard showing and nothing can be entered by my computers keyboard.

I have even tried to add a new symbolic I/O field and it does not allow entering anything either.

If i run the old KTP1200 or KTP700 that has i/o fields the OSK shows up as i click the symbolic field.

Any ideas what happens? the OSK is checked and grayed out in settings.

It does not.

Created a completely new project, added the same HMI and one  symbolic field.
input/output is preselected, added an HMI only int-tag to process under general.
unchecked "Display selection list" and "Button for selection list".

what happens if you use a new TP1500 Comfort in a new test project in V16?

Does the on Screen Keyboard work here in simulation?

Figured it out, its I&O field i was going to use and not the other one. 

Sometimes the mind locks up on one object.
