You need to have a ethernet card in the PLC ( 443-1) then you can communicate via sockets to the PLC , on the PLC side you would use the AG_Send ( FC5) and AG_Recv (FC6) from the comm library. Have a look at this link it's the quick start CD for all comms things .You can use a normal ethernet card on you PC .You also don't need the siemens NET stuff .But you do need a TCP or UDP component In Delphi I use a component from 'indy socket' according to the website it can be used with VB.
