OPC HDA on S7-1500 PLC

domloe Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	Hello everyone, I am currently working on a project in which I want to send process data from a S7-1500 controller to Matlab via the integrated OPC UA server and evaluate the data there. The possibility to read out old data after a certain time would be helpful. With OPC HDA (Historical Data Access) this should be possible. Unfortunately I didn't find any information if this can be done directly on the S7-1500 controller. I am happy about every hint and would like to thank you in advance.

I do not think, that a S7-1500 controller makes something like taglogging. An other thing maybe Alarms & Events, a S7-1500 controller generates AS-messages. Best Regards Georg Berghof

Only OPC UA DA (Data Access) at the Moment. But you can use A WinCC Professional RT or a winCC V7.X for HA access. The SCADA Systems could do the Logging of the proicess data and offer OPC UA HA Access: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/de/en/view/109763315 Bye Murof
