Hi,

I have configured an OPC Server for a PLC S7-300 using Step 7 v5.5 and Simatic NET.

The connection seems to be ok and I have access to all the DBs, M's and so on (please see the attached picture). However, since I must monitor a lot of tags, I'd like to get their symbolic names from my Step 7 project. I think I have done this in the past (if I'm not wrong they even appeared on the server explorer tree) but it's been a couple of years since I last did this and I can't remember / figure out what am I doing wrong or missing here.

Btw there's another issue and that is, I cannot access the local servers (which is actually the case of this one), I get the error message shown in the attached picture. I don't know if this issue is related to the one above. But anyway this is secondary: since I can read and write values from the server, the important point for me now is getting access to the symbols.
