OPC server, cannot add ETH card

Kris_pgc Posts: 8 Rating: (0)	Dear, I installed Simatic net PN CBA OPC server (edition 2008) to a Windows server 2008 standard edition, running on vmware. All installs fine, but when I want to configure the OPC server (with the button 'add' in the station configurator), I can only select 'Application' and 'OPC server', I cannot add a network card. When I try an import of the XDB file, Station manager gives an error on the 'IE General' slot, stating 'This component is not installed'. I already tried installing the OPC server from scratch, but no luck, same problem. Windows server has network access, so the vmware and windows settings look fine to me. Any ideas? THX, Kris
