Hi, I think that I overlooked which type of panel you used The MP377 is a WinCE operating system. This has no COM/DCOM capabilities so it cannot communicate OPC DA. It can only work as a OPC XML Server. Take a look at: SIMATIC HMI WinCC flexible 2008 Communication Part 1 http://support.automation.siemens.com/WW/view/en/18797552 See part "4.1.2 Using the HMI device". You can install the OPC XML Gateway on the PC that connects to the MP377 and then exchange data between the two servers that way or you can use another OPC XML client directly to the panel. |

you need to create the tag in wincc for specified tag on opc server |

i created a tag...but it doesn't see a value from the OPC Server.... |
