OPC Server Client

jorsalr Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	My problem is: I have a OPC Server loading on a PLC S7-400 and a OPC Client on a PC hp with Windows XP; When the comunications start the windows send a error message "Application Error opcdaServer.exe" version 305.102.103.1, module with error:ntdll.dll version 5.1.2600.21.80,error adress0x00010f2b. The simatic net used is ver. 6.3 thanks for your support.

If so you may have two different Problems, you either need to install Hotfix 1 to SIMATIC NET CD 2005, which you can find at: SIMATIC NET CD Edition 2006 Hotfix 3, CD Edition 2005 Hotfix 1, CD 11/2003 SP 1, CD 11/2002 SP 1, PC-Software V6.0 SP5 HF2 or you have a Problem with this installation at all. If you have another OPC Client and the OPC Scout works, check your OPC Client. Best regards J_Bell

jorsalr Posts: 2 Rating: (0)	I'am use Hoxfix 1 I desinstalled the winXP and install Win2000 to test, when the system start all looks good, but 45 minutes later the communication between PLC and OPC Client stopped and a window error message appair, the error is "opcdaserver.exe has encountered errors and most be closed. a log file will be generate". and show 2 buttons Accept or Close. I push the Accept button and the comunication start again. This comunication is very important because we are installeda Expert System to control a Mine Plant. The Control System (PLC 414) send the values by OPC, to this is very important that the comunication never stops. Thans again for your support.
