J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (411)	Hello, just to give you an idea what would be needed: To get the S5 toan OPC Server you may need - CP 541 (PROFIBUS interface for S5-95 to 115U) - CP 5611 (PROFIBUS interface for PC or any PROFIBUS interface from SIMATIC NET) - SOFTNET PROFIBUS DP (includingan OPC Server) You have to configure the CP 541 either as DP Slave or as FDL node. Depending on this you have to configure your PC side, than it works. Good luck. Best regards J_Bell

WillZ Posts: 5 Rating: (0)	Kepware has a Siemens S5 driver for both AS511 and 3964R. Fortunately, the AS511 has Ethernet encapsulation. You may peruse their help files here: http://www.kepware.com/Support_Center/helpfiles.asp
