Is it possible to do that? any extra hardware is required for this? any precautions? Kindly advise me asap. I am really stuck up here. Thanks for your time. regards Kedar

I know that the SIMATIC NET Driver has its own OPC Server that works great but with the two OPC Servers you showed... I can not tell you a thing about them.SIMATIC NET drivers with OPC Server for your system would be SOFTNET S7 Lean or SOFTNET S7 Advanced to exchange Data between the PLC and the PC over the S7 Protocol. To use this you can use your Ethernet Interface in your PC too. I do not know an OPC Server that would work as PROFINET IO Device. Best regards J_Bell

Jigs_C Posts: 33 Rating: (1)	Hi Kedar, Matrikon OPC server has ethernet driver so you can used ethernet to connect it over profinet. And I believe no additional hardware is required. Best Luck
