jure O Posts: 39 Rating: (0)	Hello! I am having problems with communication betwen OPC Server and SIMATIC 400 Station. The problem is that when I define aNew Connection in NETPro as Unspecified and define the parameters for communication manualy, then communication is working. But when Iselect a SIMATIC 400 Station from a list ina New Connection in NETPro (parameters are define automaticly), then communication beetwen OPC and S7-400is not working. Could somebody please tell me where could be the problem? Thank you.

J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Dear Jure O, I guess you talk about S7 Connections, do you. If you think about it, did you use a both sides configured Connection or a single sided Connection. If you have a both sided configured Connection you have to download the Network Configuration to the S7-400 too, because otherwise the S7-400 does not know about this Connection and will not respond to it. If you use a Connection with Unspecified Partner you always use a single sided configured Connection. Best regards J_Bell
