I am attempting to set up an OPC server on my current system. I have gone through the steps that is provided here: https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/ww/en/view/67295801 In the documentation there, section "3.2.4 Making S7 symbols known to the OPC server", I cannot get my symbols to appear as how they have it on figure 3-8. What step am I missing? How can I get the symbols to appear? |

I figured out what I was missing. I needed to create an S7 connection to and from the CPU and the OPC server. |
