Ramovsky Posts: 23 Rating: (0)	HI experts. I need to connect my own OPC client(C# application) to s7-200 through PC with typical ethernet card with WinXP and OPC server. What type of siemens OPC server be able for this? I need name & order number of this OPC server. Best, Ramovsky.

J_Bell Posts: 5822 Rating: (412)	Hello, for the S7-300 and S7-400 the OPC Server is part of the Driver you have to use. So you have: on PROFIBUS (here you need an additionally CP like CP 5611) SOFTNET S7 for PROFIBUS : 6GK1704-5CW70-3AA0 on Ind. Ethernet (with any NIC) SOFTNET S7 Lean (for example) : 6GK1704-1LW70-3AA0 It is not possible to order the OPC Server without the Driver. Best regards J_Bell
