Hello everyone,

I am currently establishing a connection between a WinCC Runtime Advanced HMI screen and an external OPC UA Server. I am able to create this connection in the connection tab and connect value to the corresponding HMI tags.

The problem comes when trying to test/simulate this. When starting the Runtime on the PC there seems to be no connection, and i am unable to write/read the values of the OPC UA Server.

Is there a way to test a connection of a HMI screen and an OPC UA Server?

I am using an Prosys OPC UA Server Simulation, but am planning to use a connection with another PLC (not Siemens) which can run an OPC UA Server.

It seems I forgot to manually accept the certificates of the client.

Everything is working now.
