I have a S5 project to convert to S7;first of all i would like to seeSTEP5project, but i have some problems whith STEP 5:File->project->F10 ,which file?

Hello automation_1 in your case it would "4067HXPX.INI",BUTretrieving the project settings this way will only work if you have the"real" S5 program files in the same directories as the person who created the PX.INI (the PX.INI does NOT contain any S5 program releavnt stuff but simply all sorts of S5 project setup related settings, you do NOT need this for a conversion to S7). You really only need two files to evalute the S5 program in Step5 which in your case are: - 4067hxST.S5D (this one contain all the S5 logic and comments) - 4067HXZ0.SEQ(the "Assignment LIST" contains the symbols for the I/O's. memory bits etc. and which "converts" to 4067HXZ0.INI for use by Step5). For the conversion to S7 you should also have an up to date Cross reference list which exist in your backup as "4067HXXR.INI" but if it wouldn't it can be easily created via Step5.
