Open Communication Wizard in TIA Portal v11 SP1

Richard Goodchild Posts: 6 Rating: (0)	Hello, We have migrated an existing Step 7 project into TIA Portal v11 SP1. The original project used an ET200S 151-8 CPU with CPU connections set up using the Open Communication Wizard tool Siemens provide free to configure CPU connections in the ET200S processor. Having migrated the project into Portal, I cannot now find any way of easily configuring the connections in the project (the only way to change them is to alter the datablocks containing the connection information manually). Is there a new version of OCW for TIA Portal v11 or do any connections for the ET200S CPUs now have to be manually added by creating the datablocks? Or are the connections configured in some other way? I cannot see any evidence of them in the "connections" section of "Devices and networks" either. Richard Goodchild.

The Wizard is only for STEP 7 V5.X available. Tothe other thing, it's a good question where i also would have a solution. I've never tried this in TIA but itry toreconstruct this and maybe i can give you an answer :) nice greetings bigfoot
