Dear all,

I´d like to get some information because I can´t try it now but I have to be prepared.

I use open ethernet communication to communicate between Simotion and IM151-8. I use UDP protocol, how I know, there is no feedback about connection so I make lifebit to check it.

Now, what my point is.

When the ethernet cable will pull out from the connector and I will find out that connection is broken does the parameter DONE of FB65 (TCON) goes to 0 or stay in 1? Because when I will try to reconnect I will have to use FB TDISCON first then try it again. Is it right? Or may I use immediately TCON again? I need do it automatically without any start button etc.

I´m not sure if I am right but with UDP protocol all station are passive. There is no client and server like with TCP/IP.

If I wrong please correct me.

So in my case, if cable will pull out and TCON will be set up the Con will stay DONE. When plug cable back the data transfer begin without problem again.

I have one more question.

Do outputs signals Done, Error of T-Blocks set just for one cycle after block is executed or stay in status until new request come?

I hope that they are just set for one cycle and then jump to "0". Because I have lifebit which changes his status after every send operation. It means after Done is "1".
