Hello guys, PCS7 7.1 I'm having difficulties with a faceplate. I have made a custom block with a block icon with a faceplate using the faceplate designer. I want to open the faceplate not byclicking on the block icon but using SFC. So when I start the SFC, a faceplate must open automatically where I can fill in setpoints for diverse PIDs. After closing the faceplate, the SFC continues. How do I open the faceplate, I don't know which parameter I have to use...HighlightBlockIcon doesnt seem the right on. In SFCI can make an input of a OR block high and that triggers the faceplate, or I can integrate it in the custom block...but which code to use and to which parameter? It seems simple, but don;t know where to look. Thx!! |

Hi Phantom, This seems an easy solution, but i'm not able to operate the input/outputs.. In the faceplate I have some text to display which I get from my custom block.. Also the values are not shown in the picture window. It doesn't seem dynamic.. What I tried was this: 1. Created a line 2. Attached it to my block icon in the PCS7Typical file. 3. Created a customized object with the help of configuration dialog: In Miscellaneous tab, I took the object line01 and property I added was "display" 4. Exited the configuration tab and for the line display I put an dynamic dialog referring to a tag in CFC. When value TRUE, line is unvisible, when value isFALSE, line is visible. 5. In the Events tab of the block icon, I go to Miscellaneous->Display1 and puta C action in it...Attribute is "Change".The C actionis the same aswhen I click the mouse button: PCS7_OpenGroupDisplay_V6....etc.. 6. Nothing happens after that This should be possible? How? |
