After a day of hard work i can't seem to find a solution to establish a connection to an AS400 (3rd party).

The AS400 act as a client and tries to connect to my plc with an ipadress and port every second. The IP of my plc is: 10.147.51.15:2000

My settings are: (TCON_Param)

I use TCON to establish a connection, the status keeps staying at 7000.

Does anyone have an idea?

Hi,

did you check if Error-Bit will have state "True". This signal can only stay for one cpu cycle so you should save it. If Error gets True, also save the state - perhaps it´s different to 7000 and we will have more information.

Connections in S7-1500 can be either configured in the Network view or established with the TCON, TSEND_C or TRCV_C instruction. The exception is the ISO type of connection. This has to be configured in the Network view.

thanks for your support! The error word i get back is 809A which stands for:

'The structure at the CONNECT parameter is not supported on an integrated interface or the length is invalid or an incorrect "InterfaceID" is specified in the connection description (SDT).'

I copied the structure from the siemens information system. so i don't know how that can be wrong.

Anyway i uploaded a screeshot of my UDT in the attachments. Maybe someone can take a look at it.

In the meantime i try to make it work and keep you posted.
