The new SM326 F-DI 24 module with order no. 6ES7326-1BK02-0AB0 replaces the previous failsafe SM326 F-DI 24 module with order no. 6ES7326-1BK01-0AB0. The new module is spare part compatible. The new 6ES7326-1BK02-0AB0 module can also be operated with the a configuration as 6ES7326-1BK01-0AB0 module.

Summary of the changes:

The failsafe signal module features the following improvements compared to the predecessor module:

• SIL3/Cat.4/PL e can be achieved without using an isolator module
• I&M Identification data
• Can be employed with PROFINET IO (also on Profibus behind a PN/DP coupler)
• Acknowledgement after a voltage dip available.

So you can use the 326-1BK01 configuration (if you have it in your Hardware Catalog) and use it for your 326-1BK02 module.
