If your HMI got corrupted then go for OS Update available in WinCC Flexible

Just put the MLFB number in search field and there you will find the last firmware released for searched CPU and instruction how to proceed with it... Why do you think that CPU has a problem? Why i want to do this>>b'coz 1 month before its not working and all LED's flashing without inserting MMC(only 24VDC supplied), but when i use this CPU after 15days it was working perfectly. I never seen this type of problem before...... what software needed for Firmware update?? thnks naveen

I never seen this type of problem before...... what software needed for Firmware update?? thnks naveen Hi Naveen, What you have done, so the CPU working corectly? as I have seen if in S7-300 Series if All LED flash, & no Reset is working then we have to send to the Siemens, & in this case your Communication with PG is also not work. the step is describe in the above post link of Late.

Naveen Paliwal Posts: 30 Rating: (0)	Hello I did nothing, just supplied 24VDC without MMC & CPU start working perfectly, we ask siemens for this and siemens replied "b'coz of power spike your CPU's OS damage temparary and now it can work sometimes it happen because of bad earthing" It's MLFB is 6ES7 317-2KF13-0AB0 V2.6. thnks naveen

So, there Operating System Updates for CPU 317F-2 PN/DP .But for the moment keep as it is. (it is working). Best regards, Hristo Mihalev

Some times if you have all the led blinking continously then download the hardware Via MPI once and see the result. I just faced the same set of problem with CPU 315 -2DP module, all the LED's were blinking then i downloaded the entire hardware via MPI protocol and it got solved. the part no is 6ES7 315 2AG10 0AB0 AND CP 343-1 LEAN 6ES7 343 1CX10 0XE0 Have fun...
