Hello Experts, I tried to use the P_TRIG function in the TIA portal. I gave positive inputs as shown in the snap shot down. How and when would I get the output. Can any one tell me the step. I tried different methods but do not get a output Q at the P_TRIG function. I feel may be it is to do with the scan cycle. Can any one explain how this works in the TIA portal. Or correct if any mistake. Looking forward to hear from you. I just tried to followed the example that is given in the help. With regards Johannes.

Hello, Output of such functions are active only one cycle exactly aftrer a positive edge detection.Please, use memory functions such as Flip-Flops or counters to detect very short signals.Read more here: P_TRIG: Scan RLO for positive signal edge I hope this helps, Hamid Hosseini |
