Hi all; Which panel Do you suggest for communicate through AS511 on an old S5-95U PLC? Thanks in advance!

You must look for a very old Panel, i.e. OP7. There is no new Simatic - panel that Support AS511. |

Hello, look for 6AV3607-1JC00-0AX1 or AX2 (OP7). Also you can look for 6AV3617-1JC00-0AX1 or AX2 (OP17). At the moment it is between Product cancellation and Product discontinuation. Hello According to the ST80 Catalog several HMI panels still support S5 AS511 ( Pl See Page 2/88 ). These include OP77B, OP177B DP, TP 177B DP, OP177B DP/PN, TP 177B DP/PN, c. You will have to use WinCC Flexible 2008 SP2 and Higher for using this protocol ( Except OP77B ) and also select Suitable convertor cable - As provided in the Catalog ( Page 2/88 ) for connecting S5-95U Programmer Port to the HMI Panels.
