Hi, 

Could anyone please assist, i am wanting to read the current parameter set type that has been written to the PLC and display this so the operator can see what parameter is in use. i have used the standard parameter set control. i have also created a button to read the parameter set name from the set type ID is there anyway of read the set type ID currently in use? 

TIA V18 update 3, device is a MTP1500 unified comfort panel.

In the Parameter Control you can only load back the values that runs in the PLC with the "Read from PLC" Button. Then the values of the Parameter Control Tags will  read out and loaded into the Control.

If you want to know which Datasetname was loaded the last time, you have to save this information additional in the PLC. It will not be stored automatically.

 Thanks for the reply, i cant seem to find anything that would point to the datasetname that was sent into the PLC? to my understanding only the parameter set tags are exchanged between the PLC and HMI. i would be able to save the information i am seeing within the PLC but this would not generate a unique ID? id have 10 variables for example all with a value relating to my parameter set type but nothing to indicate the paremeter set type ID
