parameters in S5@@@@AS.INI

Pedro Ascencio Posts: 56 Rating: (2)	Dear Sirs. I am using STEP 5 V7.23 on windows XP SP2 and PLC-VCOM (softing S5-PCLink) to communicate PC-PLC. The software allows to connet my PC to serial port of PLC usign ethernet (interface AS511). For long program blocks, during the downloading process to PLC, appears "time out". It problem was resolved modifying parameters (1) and (9) of the archive "S5@@@@AS.INI" (to 19200 and 500 respectively). However the online status updates slowly. [COM3:] 1) IO=3f8 2) IRQ=4 3) BAUD=9600 4) STOPBITS=2 5) PARITY=EVEN 6) RESPONSE_TIME=2000 7) CHAR_TIME=15000 8) BLOCK_LENGTH=256 9) BLOCK_TIME=200 10) TIME_AFTER_BREAK=0 11) SIO_SPEED=SLOW I would like to know where I can find some manual or specific information that describe these parameters, so that I can adjust it and obtain better performance of the communication.
