Part Program with wrong name cant be delete, rename...

This program is in the NC memory and cant be deleted or renamed...transfer from NC to HD is not possible too. In the program manager it is present with name "prg_12.9" Problem ist "point" in the name. I am sure. How can I solve this problem? S810D with HMI Advanced + ShopTurn

JoeMoran_Brettings Posts: 38 Rating: (0)	Don’t know if this will help but you can try. We had a similar issue with a corrupt program. The only way i was able to delete was to the restart the machine and as fast as possible go into the nc and program screens and delete the corrupt programbefore the NC can load all the way.

There is no chance to fix this problem with one shot. But You have to solve this a.s.a.p. because You cannot create any NC-archive anymore as long this problem persists. I'd recommend this way: - save all data separately from directory "active NC data" (all MD's, drive data, GUD's, R-parameter, tooldata, magazine data, compensation data, programs, subprograms, cycles...everything You see there inside!) - load "StandardMachineData" (NC-switch to "1" and execute PowerOn) - put the NC-switch back to "0" - insert SINUMERIK-password - remove the existing copy in the data structure of the HMI (WINDOWS-mode) - load an already existing NC-archive (if available) - load all saved files into the CNC, MD-files first(perhaps You have to load the MD-files repeatadly, because memory configurating data the NC-memory!) - execute a NC-Reset after each loaded file - load each file repeadtadely until the alarm 4400 does not appear anymore during loading this file

However I have not tested it so I cannot guarantee that it will work: 1. create a NC ISO part program where you use the ISO command DELETE to delete the wrong file. It should be something like: DEF INT ERROR DEF BOOL RESULT RESULT=ISFILE("/_N_MPF_DIR/_N_PRG_12.9_MPF") IF(RESULT==FALSE) MSG("FILE DOES NOT EXIST") M0 ELSE DELETE (ERROR, "/_N_MPF_DIR/_N_PRG_12.9_MPF") IF ERROR MSG ("Error with DELETE command:"<<ERROR) M0 ENDIF ENDIF M30 If you get the error message with the DELETE command, then please STOP HERE and do what CNC600 suggests. If you getthe message "FILE DOES NOT EXIST" maybe the file does not reallyexist in the NC memory andthe problem is only in the HMI-Advanced (sometimes it happens). Proceed with step 2. 2. Close HMI-Advanced go in Windows Service Mode and move the file F:\dh.dir\mpf.dir\__dhinf.000 to another place for example D:\ 3. Start HMI-Advanced and check if you still see PRG_12.9 in the program manager If this does not solve your problem please put back the original __dhinf.000 in F:\dh.dir\mpf.dir\

Go to Start-up --> HMI --> Dos-shell. Type EXPLORER. Search your file on dh/wks (or another directory) and just delete it in the normal windows-way. Afterwards close explorer and type after the dos-prompt EXIT and you will return to HMI.
