As yoou are expereincing FB41 in TIA portal , pleaase check the following tip from STEP 7 additional software conference. Different ways to call PID controller' FBs Note, when you call for example FB41 in OB3X,All data related to the control loop is available in the instance data block and can be accesses globally.You can read and even write access to that in your entire logic if necessary.
Besides, you can check the 4th case in the link provided above.Calling FB41 in a FC and provide instance DBs from outside.

I should check that, But if you want an algorithm to be re-usable why don't you try a solution with FB and multi-insatnce capability! I will check and update! //UPDATE: Block_DB is not valid for S7 1500 but you can try Block_FB |
