Passing property of type Multilingual Text when calling UI.OpenFaceplateInPopup

Hi forum,

I am calling UI.OpenFaceplateInPopup and would like to pass a Multilingual Text to the faceplate as part of the parameters.

However, when I try to do so, the text is shown as "0.0.0.0.0.0" in the faceplate.

Runtime version is 18.0.0.3.

The faceplate has 2 properties defined in the property interface: Color_1 (type: Color) and Text_1 (type: Multilingual Text).

still can't use Multilingual Text (at least from my tests), but I found a possible workaround that may work in few cases.

I used a resource list in combination with symbolic io field inside the faceplate.

Since resource list can be translated and can be used in the script this solves the problem but you need to manage the list which depending on the case could be a problem.

In any case this approach works and it actually saves you the time of translating the faceplate separately, since all the text is actually "outside" of the faceplate.
