how can i put password when configuring   threshold field in wincc (tia portal) ?

I don't really understand what you mean by "threshold field".

Can you please tell us more about what you want to do?

the engineer have to fix a the threshold .. 

for example he must fix the threshold of  pressure ... this field must be protected by password to limit the access to this field

if you just want to protect an I/O field then do as Murof said.

                        In Security Setting of IO field Is disabled In TIA . So U can Set Screen Security Property .

Its Easy to Set Screen Security . So operator Will Allow to Set Values Means Password Protection In that Screen . U try to Set that ..If u have any Clarification Contact me ..
