Dear paranthaman Check the following topics: How do you install the improved block protection for FBs and FCs in STEP 7 V5.5 onwards?
How can you install block protection for self-created blocks?
Best regards |

Hello Saravana kumar on top of Know_How_protect, the only way I can think of to protect your DB's from prying eyes is via "security through obscurity". In this case, you'd simply don't haveany DB's in your offline project and create them all during PLC startup or in runtime via SFC 22"CREAT_DB". I'm not saying this is a "smart" way of protecting your DB's and you'd obvisouly loose all benefits of symbol based programming this way, but your DB'scontents & structure is now well hidden and canonly be determined via reverse engineering efforts of the logic(which you can of course protect withother means). I hope this helps |
