PC/PPI cable

Because you have CP5611. When you have not a CP5611 or CP5512, you can use USB PC-adapter to programm S7-200, S7-300 and S7-400. Or a PC/PPI cable for S7-200 and a PC-adapter to programm S7-300 and S7-400. Best regards, Wizard

Best regards, Wizard Hello Wizard, I have here a PC with Win XP, Simatic Manager V 5.4 and a CPU 313-2 DP that can communicate over MPI or DP protocol. Unfortunetly I am not provided of the cable to communicate with the PC. I have here a cable that is PC/PPI. The MLFB is 6ES7 901-3BF20-0XA0 that communicates one old S7-200 with MicroWin in a Win 95 PC. My question is: Can I make a configuration in this cable to use it to communicate this S7-300 with the PC. Because this cable has a kind of Isolator that I can configure the baud rate and etc. Or I still need a PC-Adapter to make this communication? Best Regards, Rodolfo Georgii
