PC to PLC Modbus communication through ethernet

You need to configure a Modbus TCP server on the S7-1200 in order to fetch the data from your PC. I am sure you will find helpful information aboutthat from here: /tf/WW/en/Posts/61795 Apart from Modbus TCP you can also access datavia using the S7-Protocol. You will find free drivers to use withyour VB application here: http://snap7.sourceforge.net/ Best Regards.
