PC USB adapter is not getting communication with my PLC system

HI guy, I've installed Windows XP SP3 in win XP mode (laptop has installed win 7 pro 64 bits), I've installed the software, attached the device, but in the device manager informs me that the device was not initiated, and for this reason my PC USB adapter is not getting communication with my PLC system.
