At a customer site we have a machine running PCS7 V6.1 SP1 OS Server and also Batch V6.1 Server. The machine is currently being used for operator training on networked clients with APACS ACM simulations running on the OS Server PC. There is a standby OS/Batch Server PC connected but WinCC and Batch are currently shutdown. The OS/Batch server is periodicallyfailing with the attached display. On rebooting, the system runs OK for1 or 2 days before failing again. I have spoken to a colleague who has heard of a similar problem on another site. He told me the problem is specifically a problem with the Batch system. The solution at this other site turned out to be to delete the batch database, do a download from the Engineering Station and then re-import the master recipes. Do you think this could be the solution here? If so is there a suitable procedure I can follow? I am due on site Tuesday/Wednesday next week. AttachmentRebootError.zip (549 Downloads) |
